Paco had great time learning about marine life this week! It was his first visit to such a big indoor aquarium and he loved every square inch of it. There were a lot of fish. Some colorful and big, some small and almost translucent. Paco learned a lot about the different areas where ocean animals live and what they eat. Have you ever been to an aquarium? It’s almost like you’re in the water with the fish. When Paco saw the shark he was happy to have the glass between them, that's for sure. Sharks are so cool, but always keep your distance and respect their space!

Building is so much fun! Whenever Paco builds something, whether it's big or small, he fancies himself an engineer. And it's true. Engineers do build things. They build lots of things to solve all kinds of problems. Engineers study and work hard to understand how things work so that they can help make improvements and create new things!

Do you ever call yourself an engineer? You've probably had lots of great ideas for things to build. Paco built a classic birdhouse this week and he also helped his friend Rosco fix a hole in his dog house. He's had a very productive week as an engineer!

Paco loves the garbage truck! Such a big machine with so many moving parts. On garbage day Paco likes to get up early and watch the truck and garbage worker do their thing! And you know what? Garbage trucks aren’t only cool, they are also an important part of every neighborhood.
Each week they collect the trash created by our communities. They deliver the trash to dumps and landfills. Do you know how you can help keep those dumps and landfills from filling up too fast? Paco was excited to attend a really amazing event this weekend! His Aunt got married and he took a trip to be there with his family and friends. Have you ever been to a wedding? This was Paco’s first time. There was a delightful little ceremony where they gave each other rings. They also made promises to last a lifetime. It was very special. Then the party really started. They had some delicious food and they danced. They danced a lot. It was the most Paco has ever danced at one time. There must be something with celebrating that gets people dancing.
Paco showed off some dance moves from the series The Lion Guard from Disney Junior. It’s especially fitting for a bird but fun for everyone to try! Check out the you tube video below to see how it’s done.

Cooler weather and colorful trees, this is one of Paco’s favorite times of year. The pumpkin patches, apple orchards, and fall festivals bring lots of fun! And the fall harvest brings many good foods. Fresh foods right from the ground are always delicious. It’s a bird. It’s a plane. Yes! It is Paco in a plane! Paco had a great time this week on his very first plane ride. What a great way to travel a long distance in a short time. Paco learned a lot about flying this week. From the big engines that propel the plane to the giant wings that keep them in the air, he had a very informative week. Helping out when people need assistance is a great way to be a good member of your community. Something as simple as holding a door open for someone can make a difference. Donating toys and clothes or volunteering your time are also ideas to offer help. Paco did some volunteering this week to help build a house for a family in need. It was such a rewarding experience and made Paco feel good! Kindness is one of the greatest feelings. You have a lot of opportunities to be kind every day. Whether it is inside or outside, a team sport or a personal sport, or whether you win or lose, playing a sport is the perfect way to get exercise, play with friends and have fun! There are so many different sports. Baseball is one of Paco's favorites, but he also likes to play basketball, tennis, soccer, football, ping pong, golf. He likes to go surfing and bowling too...actually, there isn't a sport that Paco does not like!

Hiking is such a wonderful way to explore the outdoors and get exercise. Have you ever been on a hike? There are so many great trails in almost any community.
