Paco had an awesome day at the beach playing volleyball in the sand. What a brilliant way to spend the last days of summer! Beach volleyball requires a lot of counting to keep score. It was a great trick to get Paco thinking about math again.
Are you ready to get your math skills going to? Just print Paco's Volleyball Math Puzzle and have some fun with numbers. Can you match all the squares correctly to reveal the beach scene?
Paco was very happy to get out and play basketball this week! He learned some rules in the game and had fun with new friends. He also found out that when you score in basketball you get one, two, or three points depending on the type of basket you make. One point for a free throw, two points for a regular basket, and three points if your shot is from behind the 3 point line. Paco didn't score any points while playing this week but he did create a fun game to count by tens using a basketball theme!!
Check out the instructions below and print out a score card to get counting.
Paco had great time learning about marine life this week! It was his first visit to such a big indoor aquarium and he loved every square inch of it. There were a lot of fish. Some colorful and big, some small and almost translucent. Paco learned a lot about the different areas where ocean animals live and what they eat. Have you ever been to an aquarium? It’s almost like you’re in the water with the fish. When Paco saw the shark he was happy to have the glass between them, that's for sure. Sharks are so cool, but always keep your distance and respect their space!
You know what Paco likes to sing when he sees or hears about sharks?
I bet you can guess… just click below to sing along with Pink Fong!
Now with a little help from your math skills and a few crayons or colored pencils, you can create a tiny little aquarium full of color for yourself. Be sure to check your math before you start to color. Enjoy!
