Virtual Visits!

This week Paco connected with some friends virtually by video! It was fun for him to see his friends together in one call. They had fun catching up, telling jokes and even singing! Rhi the Rabbit had them all singing along to some of her favorite Sesame Street songs. Rhi told Paco and the others about a series of musical concerts called Tiny Desk, where musical acts perform at a tiny desk in an office. The whole gang from Sesame Street did a concert there last year and it was really fun.

Click the video below to join the cast and sing along too!

If you find yourself missing friends, family members or your teachers, Paco has an idea for you! Just print out the stationary below, color the pictures and write a note. Paco knows that getting things in the mail is a great pick me up for anyone!

Who will you send a note to?

Paco is happy that there are so many great teachers out there to help kids learn. Teachers are some of the greatest community helpers and can be very inspiring! Paco had a nice visit with his first teacher last week and he met some of the kids in her current class. What a treat that was! Have you ever visited a former teacher to say "Thank You"?

Paco created some special Thank You cards to share with your teachers, or anyone who helps you that you want to say, "Thank you" too! There are a lot of people in our lives who help us grow and learn. Just print out the activity sheet to make your own cards and share with someone special.

SNAIL MAIL IS WORTH THE WAIT!

There are so many great things about today’s digital world, but do you know one of Paco’s non-digital favorites? MAIL. A nice note in the mail is a wonderful thing. An invitation to an event, a letter from an old friend, or a postcard!! Paco really appreciates the mail service. Did you know the US Postal Service has been around since 1775? That is when Benjamin Franklin became the first postmaster general. Mail delivery in the United States has continued since then. Amazing, isn’t it?

To help you say thanks to all of your favorite postal workers, Paco created some simple and fun Thank You cards for you to print, color, write, and share! What a great way to show your support for this amazing American service. You can use the note cards to say thank you to anyone you’re grateful for too!  Just download the file below to begin.
