Paco had an awesome day at the beach playing volleyball in the sand. What a brilliant way to spend the last days of summer! Beach volleyball requires a lot of counting to keep score. It was a great trick to get Paco thinking about math again. Are you ready to get your math skills going to? Just print Paco's Volleyball Math Puzzle and have some fun with numbers. Can you match all the squares correctly to reveal the beach scene? ![]()

Paco saw an amazing display of hot air balloons this week. So many beautiful colors across the sky. Seeing those big balloons in the air got Paco thinking about where the hot air balloon came from... so he asked some questions! Turns out the first hot air balloon to carry a person was made in France for a King and Queen all the way back in 1783. Paco also learned who the first passengers were to take flight in the hot air balloon before the person did. He would have never guessed but it was a sheep, a duck, and a rooster! What a sight that must've been. Ready to have some fun with patterns and balloons in Paco's latest What Comes Next? activity. Check out the Hot Air Balloon edition to see if you can finish all the patterns in the worksheet below. ![]()
