<![CDATA[Check Mate!]]>Sat, 20 Nov 2021 08:00:00 GMThttp://yourpostcardpal.com/pacos-blog/check-mateHave you ever played chess? Paco just played last week! Did you know, the longest chess game in recorded history lasted 269 moves and actually ended in a draw. A "draw" means that no one won - they tied! Can you believe that? That must have been a really long game. The average game only lasts 38 moves and takes anywhere from 10 to 60 minutes to play.

If you want to learn how to play, or teach a friend who does not know, Paco has a really cool video that teaches all of the moves. Check it out!
He also created a cheat sheet for you, a board and all of the pieces. It can be hard to remember what moves each piece can make, so the cheat sheet really comes in handy! Find a friend or family member to play with and have fun.
