Paco is enjoying the fruits, er, vegetables of his labor! Specifically cucumbers. Paco loves a refreshing cucumber snack anytime but they are especially tasty when they are freshest. Papa Paco is a big fan too. He makes a special Cucumber Salad side dish for many family meals. Have you ever had cucumber salad?
Grab yourself a couple fresh cucumbers and give this family favorite a try. It's a recipe Paco's family uses all summer long. Enjoy!
It's been a long time since Paco was able to eat out at a restaurant. This week he was able to visit one of his old favorites with his family. The warm weather and the patio set the perfect scene. Everyone was able to order exactly what they wanted and no one had to do the dishes! It was a great outing for Paco.
You know what is almost as fun as ordering from a menu? Getting the whole table involved in some games. Whether you are dining at home or at a restaurant all you need is Paco's Restaurant Fun worksheet to play! Print out the activity and keep it handy so you can raise the fun meter wherever you dine.
Stay safe and healthy friends.
Paco had a great week exploring the stars in the night sky! On a nice clear night he can see a lot of stars by just looking up. He also has a telescope that he uses to see so much more of what is in the sky. Planets, constellations, shooting stars, and closer views of the moon. Have you ever looked through a telescope?
You can use Paco's Lost In Space Galaxy Bottle activity to create your own universe in a bottle! Just grab a few supplies and follow the directions on the worksheet. Have fun and be creative!
Paco made a special video to show you how he finds Polaris, also called the North Star. When you are in the Northern Hemisphere the North Star can be very helpful because when you find that star you will always know you are facing north. Explorers have been using The North Star to help with navigation for centuries! If it's cloudy or if you're in a big city with a lot of light it can be more difficult to find. Pick a nice clear night with a dark sky and follow Paco's tips. Imagine using the stars to guide you on an exploration. Where can the stars take you?
Paco had a great time playing hopscotch on the course he drew this week! It's always fun to make it to the end of the game, even when it's challenging. In fact, Paco LOVES a good challenge. That's why he made a Sidewalk Chalk Fitness Challenge for YOU to create your own obstacle course.
Print the activity below to get started. How quickly can you complete the course you created? Challenge a friend or family member to see who can complete in the least amount of time. Have fun and be safe!
